am looking to get some legal advice for a situation that I am in. The situation involves an affair I had with a married women. I have meet the husband and admitted to him the affair occurred. He is now asking me to write in detail the timeline and details of the affair. He claims that he is going to work things out with his wife, but just wants this in case there is a divorce in the future. He has also asked me to pay him 2400 dollars to cover the cost from recently filling divorce that he has now decided to withdrawl. He has asked that these details of the affair and the arrangments for payment be written on separate forms. I am not sure if I should write the letter with the details, and very hesitant to pay him the money. The affair is over and I want nothing more to do with him or his wife ever. What is my legal rights here (I know they are limited since I am the one who had the affair).

No you do not have to pay him anything, and I wouldn't unless you want to. You also do not have to give him any written details of the affair, unless you want to.
