Can anyone file a garnishment if you have a judgement or does it have to be a lawyer? If so what do I need to have with me? I never got anything from the court.

I don't know what state you are in, but we filed our own garnishment. We filled out the correct form and submitted it to the court. The court stamped it and mailed it back to us. Then we mailed the stamped form to the employer.
