I recently divorce a Master Sergeant in the Military who lies about his income and brings in a copy of his pay check stub that he has created on his computer. I know he is lying about his income because the base pay online (that anyone can view) is more than the amount he has on his fake copy. how do you beat this and get the judge to see his is lying when you can't even get help from his superiors on base. How do you get this information sent to you or your lawyer

Actually you can print your LES from your home PC, but whether thats what he is doing or not, I have no idea. As far as I know, you would have your lawyer request it through the courts, and maybe get a copy through DFAS, or his tax return. I would think your lawyer would best know how to do this.

You can go to public web sites and find military pay based on service, rank and years served. It's public information.

You have to realize that once he's divorced, he will probably go live in the barracks, which will take his housing allowance away, thus not be able to be computed in the child support.

it may or it may not, in some branches, E7s and above can draw BAH regardless of their marital status, his rate may change, but a divorce does not always mean the only housing allowance one is entitled to is the barracks or dorms or single soldier quarters or whatever they are calling them these days. Only time will tell.

No E-7 in the AF lives in the dorms unless he is on a remote or TDY. Those days are long gone...

Yup - the AF is pretty darn nice to their airmen. 16 years ago, I was a single E-4 living off base. Take home with all of the extra allowances, even back then, was pretty darn nice.

And if that were the case, would he lose his housing allowance????

I would assume so if he was single with no dependents, but since he has dependents I would think he would get a form of BAH, right?
BAH was never included in my huaband's CS equation. Just base and flight pay.
