paranoia is creeping in as I try to cram for an interview for the job I've been doing the past 10 months as a temp. :( While everyone has been very kind and supportive, saying how great I am to have b/c I am helpful, there is this little voice in the back of my head saying "there are BETTER people out there and you s*ck at interviews, so what makes you think you are even close to being a shoe in?". The other little voice is telling me I will do/say something that will make me look like a total azz. UGH. So I am trying to project postive vibes, not be nervous and study common interview questions, etc. Please keep your fingers crossed, I REALLY need to have a permanent place to call home, the thought of even starting another job search is making me sick. It also doesn't help that when I told H yesterday about the interview, his first comment was to make sure I get on the net and start putting my resume in for other jobs. GREAT confidence booster huh? WTH is wrong with him lately? He's been getting more sarcastic, and I'm wondering if he's finally gotten fed up with me and my crap.

We're often our own worst critics. I'm sure you come off much better than you think with your employer. Relax and be yourself. I'm sure you'll do great.

I agree with your H. Make sure your resume is top notch and get it into the hands of as many as possible.
A lot of people go through 10-12 interviews before landing a great job.

Good luck Char9. I hate interviews, reviews, etc. I'm getting better at reviews and I have a boss that I can now talk too pretty openly. That helps allot.
