So, coworker walks by to discuss me "taking the high road" with the kids.
Co worker says: "You taking the high road is going to cost you custody of your kids."
Sick of it.

ps: This is why no one at work (except for one very close friend) knew much at all about me or my life or my kids. People (esp. ones without kids or the struggles you've had) don't realize how saying something like that can REALLY hurt.

Well, he asked about the trip to the theme park and didn't understand why I didn't tell the kids so they could put pressure on their dad.
I told him I refuse to put my kids in the middle of it.
The guy basically said that going by my morals was going to work to my ex's advantage and he was going to get everything he wants in court as a result.
I'll be honest, there are people on this forum that have already decided I will lose my court battle because I didn't follow THEIR infinite wisdom. This isn't all that much different but JUST as annoying & frustrating. KWIM?

That is her opinion. Is she the great teller of the future with a crystal ball? Nooooooo, she's not. She should mind her own business and you, little miss, should stop sharing yours with office people. You share it here, that should be satisfying enough.

The VP of our company has known me since we were 13 years old. He knows my whole family & my entire life story. Most of the people I work with know me and I know them. There are only about 30 of us.

These people know me. It really is like a small family. The owner & VP know a lot since they floated me a loan on the attorneys retainer.
