Alimony

Can anyone tell me if anyone after being married over 7 yrs can get alimony? Do you need to be employed or unemployed or does it matter?

yes if im not mistaken if you are married over 5 years you can get it. The employment i dont think matters? and i think its a certain percentage of your marriage? like for example i was married for 10 years i would have gotten it for 3 years.
