My husband and I are getting divorced. He inherited the home from a deceased relative during our marriage, but it is considered pre-martial based on Florida's inheritance law. Here's the thing. In his financial affidavit, the amount of money owed on the house, and what he told me is owed, differs by over 100,000 dollars. I think he got a line of equity sometime in the past couple months. Here's another thing. The kids and I have not received any money from him in two months and are receiving goverment support because of his monetary lack. I know I am not entitled to the house. But if he took out a line of equity, could I be entitled to part of it?

Not weird really. Just typical behavior from a spouse interested in pulling underhanded tricks to avoid responsibility. Get an atty and file for temp custody, child support and temp spousal.
I'm not sure about Floridas specific laws but in other states, while you wouldn't get the premarital home, you would be entitled to a portion of the equity on the house that accrued during the marriage. I'm not sure if that holds true in FL or not though.
If he's being underhanded this early in the game you can bet he's not going to suddenly decide to throw support money at you and be a nice guy. Get an atty -- beg and borrow if you have to but get one. You're going to need the help.
