I have been with my boyfriend for 10 years we have a four year old daughter and things aren't going to well. Do you think I should go through divorce proceedings are do I even need to? My main concern is him trying to take my daughter away i live in utah. We also bought a condo 4 years ago and its in his name he now wants to kick me out on the streets I really don't think its fair? Any advise :confused: [color:pink] [/color]

I am not positive about the Utah laws, but in most states, he can't kick you out. He has to take you to court and the judge decides. If I were you, I would start looking for a place to live. If Utah is one of the states that recognizes common-law marriage, you may need a divorce, if you have assets in both names.
