An in camera inspection of what?

An "in camera" inspection usually means that the Judge reviews record to determine relevance. If you mean an "in camera" interview such as an interview of a minor child, you would simply file a Motion stating exactly that, you are seeking an order for an "in camera interview" of the minor child to determine whether the child is of sufficient age and maturity to express a preference as it relates to parenting time.

In most cases where the issue is parenting time, such motions are denied.

I'm not the one seeking anything, but my ex has filed for parenting time modification. Now we are just wrapping up the parenting study by the court family services dept, and the report should be done soon. Then today when I look on the court website I see that there is suddenly a motion filed that only says "motion for in camera inspection". No more details given...

I've a call in to my lawyer but I'm just confused trying to figure out what this means for my case. So it may be his lawyer wanting to see any documents I gave the family services investigator? I'm just trying to prepare myself if this is some big nasty thing coming my way, cause I've gotten used to expecting that with my ex...

What is he asking for in the mod?

Why give a "senior" discount, they have had plenty of time to raise the money...

In Camera inspections are often conducted to review sensitive records before they are disclosed to other parties. For example medical records or pyschological records can be reviewed by a court to determine if they are relevant. Any material that is not relevant is not disclosed or may be redacteed.

It is likely an 'in camera inspection' of the parenting evaluators underlying records. I requested the same thing of the GAL appointed to my case.
