My husband and I have agreed to an uncontested divorce. We have put the house on the market and are planning to go our separate ways when it sells, but are both still living in the house, in separate bedrooms upstairs/downstairs. I'm planning to file my own papers rather than having an attorney. Will it cause issues if I file for divorce while we are living together, albeit in separate bedrooms?

Yes, you better be careful with that. There are certain criteria for what is considered "separated". Filing your own papers can often be a good idea in an uncontested divorce but get some help with produre like this. An excellent resource for self-represented people is centenniallawoffices.com/Pro%20Per.html You can get your legal issues researched and answers provided quickly, help with forms, etc. without actually having to hire attorney to represent you. Good luck.

Have the same problem but we have a kid. May I just move out and take a kid with me and then file my papers? Should I get a temporary custody or whatever it is first?
