Questions
If the econcomy has caused me to be out of work for 17 months with no money coming in.. Not a Dime..
Can the Courts Seize my Bank Accounts and Payroll to recovery Divorce Spousal Payments past due? to collect now $51,000 past due..
I have no home, car, money since Sept 2009..
Since then I have been to Court each month reporting my no job status to Judge.... after spending 23 days in Jail..and having Passport and bank Accounts and any money I had Seized and conficated by the Court.
Being a Nice guy who gave every thing on top of $3,000 mo. I am now the one geeting SCREWED....BIG TIME SCREWED>>
They did..
Do I have the right to ammend the Divoce Agreement if the Economic conditions have changed?
Does she still get paid when I have no income for those 15 months?
Need help State Divorce was in is Michigan. Gratiot County..
Need Free Advise or Direction I have no Money for Lawyer..
Need recommendations and Options ...

Try a Legal Aid office. You need to have your support order modified to reflect your current financial condition. Don't feel bad or embarassed about it becase A WHOLE LOT OF PEOPLE ARE OUT OF WORK AND OUT OF MONEY RIGHT NOW.

Ues, they can be seized unfortunately. Yes, you owe it. Yes, you can have it modified unless your CO says otherwise and should have from day 1, but hundsight is 20/20
