Am I still married or already single???

My ex husband kicked me out because he wanted the divorce.
After that, he started divorce proceedings BUT he had never informed me anything of the details. Then he disappeared after six months has passed, and now I have no idea how the progress on our divorce is going on. I even don't know which divorce court my ex applied to.
How should I do?
Please help me!

You're still married unless he undertook a divorce via publication . Usually you would be served the petition before any court action unless he were unable to locate you . If you live in an open records state you can search divorce records or look in the classified ads of your local papers for the service via publication .

Thanks for your great feedback.

I haven't received the petition or anything like it, so I'm kinda starting to suspect my husband/ex-husband gave them false information to make the process for the divorce smooth; I.E. "My wife left me from her own will and I don't know where she is now. So I need the divorce" or something like that.
I don't know what kind of information they require, but it's possible he didn't report my location. I think that might be why he forced me to leave first then he started the proceedings, and he didn't like to tell me the details.
I wish at least I had known which court he apply to so that I might be able to find his false pretenses, if possible.

I'll try to look at the divorce records.
