my husband and I have been married for 5 years and have a 13 month old together. we dont own a house, we dont have any debt, we dont have any stocks etc.. basically we have no assets. for years we have been trying to move from Indiana to Washington state because that is where my family is. I am miserable in my marriage. I want a divorce, but I dont know how to go about with the process. I have been a stay at home mom since I got pregnant, I dont have a penny to my name, and I have bad credit, and no credit cards.
everyone tells me that I should just wait until we move to Washington, and then proceed with a divroce from my husband. so that I dont have to worry about my husband not signing the papers to move out of the state, and there is no way in hell he would move away from Indiana unless we moved as a family. plus, from what I understand you have to be registered in the state you live in for a certain amount of time become you can file for divorce, and that is if we ever get out of Indiana..
what are my rights as a mother in the state of Indiana? what should I do? who should I talk to? I feel trapped, and alone, and so sad. any answers or help would be so greatly appreciated..

It does not cost too much for an uncontested divorce. You need a lawyer to help you sorting things out. Here is one: 317-610-3295
