If we go in to modify child support can he also try to modify alimony? Financial situation has not changed for me since the divorce.

The answer depends on your order. SOme spousal maintenance awards ccan be made non-modifiable with a waiver by both parties. In such a case, spousal support could not be modified at any time.
Additionally, some states have separate child support procedural systems where a child support Magistrate/Referee/Judge can hear only child support matters. The other party could file a motion, but it would be heard separately.

Well...thanks for your opinion Yregna.
I do not sit on my ass. I work full time and go to school part time. Alimony was HIS idea not mine for whatever reason. Guess he felt guilty about his cheating ways.

Correct me if I am wrong, but you want to raise his child support but don't want him to be able to modify your alimony?

It was just a question for informational purposes. I did not say that I did not want him to be able to modify my alimony. I just did not know if he could or not.
