Im the non-custodial parent and have to travel a few hundred miles each time I visit my infant son twice a month which cost me a couple hundred dollars a month in gas and tolls, not to mention about 14 hrs of driving every month. Can this be taken into account when determining my child support?

Yes, it can be. Who moved/caused the ditance can also be a factor.

Thanks for the info- actually neither of us moved- we both dated for a while and lived in different states and things didnt work out but we ended up having a child together

Bummer. No advice, but too bad you weren't thinking of that when you had sex.

What state? In my state- there is something called "extraordinary visitation expenses" and the courts can deviate from regular CS due to these expenses REGARDLESS of who moved.
I should also add that way don't you consider having your X and you split these expenses?

BTW if CS has yet to be determined I would ask that the traveling expenses be split 50/50, especially if there isn't a clause where a deviations may take place due to extraordinary visitation expenses.
