In our state, if you are 2 months behind in child support and/or owe more than $1000, your driver's license will be suspended. We are now in this situation, with NCP not having paid child support in 3 months. Does anyone know how to enforce this statute? Where we would go to follow through with this?

Are you sure you want to do that? If he needs his licence to get to work, he may end up unemployed and that means even less money for you. I would go for wage assignment.

Found out it won't be up to us anyways....once it's reported each month that CS is not being paid, the CSE starts proceedings to suspend the driver's license. Not our problem if they can't get to work or come get their kids for parenting time. Maybe they should keep up on their responsibility as a parent to take care of their children.

You can go to your local Family Law Facilitator's office (usually located at the courthouse), and there you will find someone who can guide you through the process of enforcing the child support order.
Otherwise, there are legal aid clinics located throughout the major cities of a particular state, and they are there for the purpose of helping people in your siutation to find a way to solve it.
Best of luck with your situation, and I hope this helps!

Child support is an issue that never comes up until you're on the end of an ending relationship. [censored]://mychildsupporthelp.info

To prevent the suspension, a child support obligor must enter into a payment arrangement with the child support enforcement office or an agreement that is accepted by the court. Often the retention of a lawyer can facilitate a payment arrangement that is acceptable to the court. If the driver fails to provide a compelling reason for reinstatement, they may not reapply for reinstatement for a 12 month period.
