We are in the midst of doing our separation papers and we have 2 kids. Both myself and my wife are working - problem is, she earns more than me and wants to have full custody of both the kids.
Is this even possible? What are the best approaches to tackle this situation? I am looking to have full custody of a least one child.
Thanks.

Of course it is possible for her to get full custody. How old are your kids? Have either of you been stay at home parents? How long have you been separated? How often do you see the kids? Judges don't typically give full custody of one child to one parent, and custody of the other to the other parent, so I don't know what you mean by wanting full custody of at least one child???? If you have been involved in your childrens life fully until now, ask for joint 50/50 custody if you live near eachother and can work together to raise your children (meaning be able to communicate with your ex about the kids).
Get a lawyer. It doesn't matter that she makes more than you. She really doesn't have any more say than you do, especially if you do not have any custody papers figured out yet.
Best of luck

From what you wrote, you clear have no idea on how the family law system works. You will need to have a crash course on it, and you need an attorney yesterday....otherwise expect to get trampled.

Don't settle right now for anything less than what you really want to end up with. Because, if you do, you will get less than you want. Ask for the sun, moon and stars and settle for the moon and stars.
