filing an amendment

my attorney told me that he was going to write up and file an amendment to my current motion. I just wanted to know will my ex also get a copy of the amendment? Do i send it to him or does my attorney send it?

Your attorney will be taking care of it. What is the ammendment for? I thought it was already ruled on?
