Brand New, Never Used, Seagate Barracuda 500GB SATA Hard Drive (ST3500418AS) 3Gb/s Transfer, 16MB Cache, 7200RPM.
This is the drive ONLY, does NOT come with cable/software. Retails for $104.99 - Selling for $65.00 (includes Shipping via Priority Mail).
Background: I bought same last April and it died in October; received a new one in November under an 'advanced RMA' and returned old one. In January I received an email from Seagate acknowledging the return of the old one and then they send me a new one. I called the company and they said "Merry Christmas".
I really and truly don't need a second 500GB hard drive as I have an External 1TB Hard Drive. Also, I can use the money.
Figured I'd offer it here first and if I don't have any takers, I'll put it up on eBay.

If no one from here takes it..I'd put it on Craigslist before ebay. No listing or selling fees and everything I have listed on Craigslist..sold the same day I listed it..cash only of course.

I put it on Craigslist on Saturday for $75.00...no response. Don't know if there was a problem with anonymizer email and I won't put my phone number up.

If you want to sell on Craigslist, I'd start a throw away email account that you could put in the listing.
I can't respond to those CL generated email addresses because it will only let me answer by Windows email, which I don't have. I know it's not just me, many of my friends can't click on the CL email to respond either.
I agree there's NO WAY I'd put my phone number in a CL ad.
Ebay does have 50 free listings a month, but 9% fvf on the total purchase price (item plus shipping), and 2.9% plus 30 cents for paypal fvf, and if you don't mail with delivery confirmation, you've given your item away.
