OT - Does It Really Matter?

I was reading an article this morning about how some man with Neo-N@zi ties killed himself and 4 others...among them a 16-month old.

Over a thousand 'comments' on the story...the majority are political; people arguing over whether the guy was from the 'left' or the 'right'.

Does it really matter?

Is being an extremist from the 'left' worse than being an extremist from the 'right'? Is a Muslin extremist worse than a Christian extremist? Is a white extremist worse than a black one? Is a male extremist worse than a female?

Does it really matter?

Define "left" and "right"....seriously...don't know the difference..

ETA..I am extremely guilty of burying my head in the sand when it comes to political issues...I almost always refuse to listen to the media on just about anything...Assuming that the label of "left" and "right" refers to conservatism and liberalism, right? What is the manifesto of "far right" and "far left"?

Of COURSE it matters, without knowing which side the extremist was FROM, how could we use that incident to paint ALL members of that same side, extremist or not, with the same brush?

You are right. An extremist is an extremist. Someone that has such radical beliefs (mixed with some crazy and a disregard for life).....
