First it was New York trying to ban soft drinks over a certain size, now Cambridge Mass wants to ban soft drinks and ANY drinks with sugar added in ANY restaurants.
Its getting bad people.

I agree, it was getting bad. It started when Bush was handed the presidency by the Supreme Court.
Fortunately, it's starting to get better.

What the hell does the FEDERAL government have to do with a STATE government banning certain things?
Oh, and HOW is it getting better? By the CURRENT administration MANDATING the purchase of health insurance?
Oh, and BTW, Bush was RE-ELECTED since the court thing, but nice try.

California doesn't allow restaurants to give away a toy with a meal unless it meets certain nutritional guidelines. No toy with the typical Happy Meal. That is one of the reasnos McD's changed the format bit, making the fries smaller and adding apple slices.

Of course, Goodmom would have you believe that is part of the HEALTH or BUSINESS code. But again, part of the government telling us all that we are too stupid to know what is in our own best interests.

Which is something that would not have happened if the Supreme Court had not handed him the presidency. He didn't even get the popular vote when he got into office.
As for the health insurance, I rank it right up there with car insurance. If it can be mandated (and it can) that we have to have car insurance, it can be mandated that we have to have health insurance. BTW, President Obama had a mandate (he did win the presidency by over 50% of the vote where his platform was HEALTHCARE REFORM) to do just what he did. And he followed through.
