When is the dissolution of marriage signed?

I fell in love with a woman who is in the process of a divorce, but because we are both religious we decided to not see each other until her divorce is final. She has a court date coming up. I had assumed the divorce would be done on that date, but from what I have learned, after the ruling, the attorneys must submit a dissolution of marriage which the judge then has to sign. How long does this process usually take?
