Ah yes...Texas...we are a country unto itself.

In Texas there is no such thing as a legal seperation.

In Texas anything purchased even while not living together before the divorce is final (which can take up to 3 years) is community property.

In Texas, cohabitation is a no no.

In Texas, we can get orders stating no traveling and overnights with members of the opposite sex.

In Texas...if you file for divorce and it takes 3-6 months to get infront of a judge for the TO..NO ONE can be forced to move.. as most own guns here...thats got to present a pretty picture when you have a hostile environment. Think War of the Roses was based losely on an actual Texas divorce if I recall.

And everyone wonders how the ex and I can be so amicable..my hell..look at the options
