Did you just tell this woman to get counseling to try to save her marriage??!! Or counseling to get her own confusion figured out??

He tried to KILL her. He even got arrested for it, the State is filling a restraining order on her behalf and they are telling her to go to a shelter.

Yes, she should have left a note. That would be the responsible thing to do as a wife. However, the tone I got from her posting is that he's constantly on her about every move she makes. No note or phone call is going to change the behavior of a man who tries to STRANGLE his wife when she doesn't answer him. He needs the counseling more than she does!
