Tell a relative about this site. So that one of them can update us upon your murder?

I don't know if that's harsh enough to jolt you into reality or not. But hon...that IS reality. ANYONE who can put their hands on another person in an attempt to stop them from breathing is UNSTABLE. That means you DO NOT KNOW what might set him off at any time. What if you suggest he get counseling and he snaps? What if you let him back in and he just bides his time waiting to attack you for getting him thrown in jail? YOU DON'T KNOW. Is a marriage worth that?

You sound like the Sunday-go-to-meetin' individual who will try to salvage a marriage at all costs. Now I know Jesus said to turn the other cheek. But I also know that in no way did He EVER condone getting oneself killed over some sanctimonious views on marriage. He in fact admonishes a man to love his wife, not beat or strangle her.

But by all means, if after everything that has been said, you're still determined...please please please tell a relative so that we're not all left hanging in limbo wondering what happened next.
