Counseling is a *possible* form of resolution for you. I personally would love to hear that you could beat the odds, the statistics and the realities of dealing with your husband. Your husband, who has demonstrated an incredibly dangerous lack of SELF-control, and an overly developed sense of ownership of another human being.

You do realize that right now, at this very moment, and despite your desire for counseling, you are the living breathing example of the woman that the social workers, police and judges all say can't be helped because you won't leave your abuser.

Christ says to honor, respect and cherish each other. Your husband doesn't follow Christs teachings - at least not to the level you do. I hope you don't lose your life because of it.

I'll pray for you. You need it.
