I think she is trying to let go but still has guilt.most of the contact is by me.she really is trying to move past me.i am the one who wants to meet for dinner.i'm the one who calls or text or emails,not her.i know she cares about this guy.she talks about moving in with him sometimes.why would she tell me that stuff.how cruel can you be? she has told him we meet for dinner to discuss house and money issues.we do everything but talk about that stuff.just enjoy small talk and such.i dont think he knows we talk all week long though.part of the problem for me is that i am still living in the house.she pays half of everything still.i dont make that much money.she makes more than double what i make.it just makes it easier for me to stay in the house and not rock the financial boat.maybe thats why i dont bring up the divorce word.i dont want to struggle without her help.and i think it helps ease her guilt about cheating on me.so i just stretch it out as long as i can.i know thats bad on so many levels.but it helps to not have to worry about money right now.one less thing to worry about.
