I agree with Buckeye, try counseling. It sounds to me this is something that should have been done along time ago. Maybe if the two of you had gone and talked to someone about you issues primarily concerning his control problems maybe you wouldn't be in this position right now. He made it clear that he does not want a divorce. If you still have any feelings what so ever, why not give it a try??? Give it till your son graduates to try counseling and working out your issues. If it doesn't work after that then if anything your divorce will be alot simpler. You will also be showing your son that you made every attempt to work things out and that marriage isn't something that should just easily blow away with the wind.
