I'm sorry to hear this but the truth of the matter is that no one will care about your situation. The courts have it locked up for men to recieve custody. First, let me guess the husband got temporary custody and you are trying to get her back. This seems to be the case in most proceedings. When this happen you must come up with a huge financial flow to keep fighting to get her back in your custody. The problem most women have is that we don't make enough money to fight the men. Majority of men make more money than women. Which in turn is the reason why we lose these cases we don't have enough money to fight them. In the court of law it is based on who has the most money and in most marriages that will be the men. I went through this twice and lost twice on different children with two different fathers. I couldnt' win in either case for the same reason. Now my first born who is 16 soon to be 17 looks like an abused woman. She has no confidence and is put down on every occasion. He doesn't even want her to go to college. He is telling her she is not smart enough to do the work. I'm trying to convince her to go on to college and live life to it's fullest. He is telling her I want to live my dreams out through her. Oh yea, the step mom is telling her that college isn't for everyone and she should go to a trade school instead because it would be easier. Four years of school is too long. Wow, what low lifes they really are. My sister just lost custody of two children 6 months ago. She is fighting to get her kids back. I have met countless of women who have lost custody time and time again. There is no hope until women come together especially female lawyers to create support groups in which we can help one another.
