I would say it all depends on how the settlement agreement or court order is written.
It could say that the spousal support ends when the Ex shares a residence with any other non-related adult. Or any other adult. Or any adult of the opposite sex. Or any adult with whom they have a romantic relationship.
MY agreement defined cohabitation as taking up residence with any non-related member of the opposite sex and mail forwarding taking place. Lucky for me she just moved in with the guy this week finally after 6 years.
