Trying to get things in order...help

I have learned a great deal by reading many of the recent posts; I appreciate the sharing and the information.
I married a younger man and I am ready to divorce him now, as I can no longer give and give and give. I am drained financially and emotionally. I have horses owned by a LLC in my name only; they are registered to me. I bought them with my money from a house I previously owned as a single person. It is my understanding that the horses are community property (State of AZ). Is it OK for me to sell one or more of the horses now, before I file, without his knowledge? Can I/should I go ahead with a second mortgage to build or buy another property now? He would be getting 50% of that debt. The marital house is my name as sole and separate and he signed a quit claim. It is also my understanding that he would get 50% of the equity. He owned a house in CA and recently sold it. Am I not entitled to 50% of that equity?
What else can I do to prepare myself and protect myself? How do I find a good attorney?
STBX has serious anger management problems. In fact, he has had court ordered therapy in a previous divorce. RED FLAG that I did not heed, much to my shame. How do I tell him about the divorce? When? After I find an attorney? I need some help in how to handle this. Thank you.
