He is eleven......a while back...maybe 2 months or so ago...we were having issues with him being picked on a school...nothing major i dont beleive but enough to make him come and tell me about it.....so I and my SO told him that if anyone touches him or even threatens to then he should go and tell a teacher or similar adult as school as soon as possible and the it would be handled by the parents and the school administration....well he must have mentioned this to his father when he was on his weekend....his fathers then tells him if anyone touches him that he better defend his dignity and fight back...well thats fine and dandy if its your life that is at stake....but in the school system where we live....no fighting is tolerated and both parties, right or wrong will be suspended from school....that is just one of many things that he is confused about. Aparently my X has been telling him that he doenst have to "take any crap from anyone"..when it comes to being disiplined here at my house by me or my SO.....there is no physical punishment here but we do ground and hand out chores and such as consequences for bad behavior and the such. Well this has caused my son to lash out at time and even pushed him the point of lying to us.
