TGSM - Hey, by all means butt in! hehehe I do it all the time! Maybe we should form an exclusive club? LOL
We talk about retirement non stop. People ask me and my husband if we are going to have any children TOGETHER. OH HELL NO!!!! LOL We have 5 between us, youngest ones are 7 and we want to work on getting them OUT and moving on to US US US. I could spend 24/7 with him for 50 years no problem. I'm confident of that.
Rebecca - When is your anniversary? My third anniversary is this month... lol. I tell my husband, "well three years and I still really LIKE you not just love you so I figure we're on the right track." He is definitly my best friend and there is not a soul in the world I'd rather be with.
I've found I gravitate towards people with GOOD marriages. In the past everyone I knew had a bad marriage and so did I. Birds of a feather I guess. So it's my long time friends I have the most problem with. One in particular. My marriage isn't strained but my friendship is. We've been friends for 13 years and I couldn't even get into the psychology behind her thinking on here but she has a major thorn in her side about my DH. She bashes him to which ends up with me disgusted with her telling her to back off my husband.
My husband and I don't fight. For as hard as that may be to believe for some. We disagree on rare occassion but don't argue about it. We talk about it. How lame, huh?
People LOVE drama though, I swear. That whole love/hate relationship thing seems to be the thing. I know so many people who fight like cats and dogs. They love with a passion and fight with a passion. Then brag about the make up sex... LOL. I had that sort of marriage the first time around and it's why I'm DIVORCED!
