Ok, first of all, I'm sorry if I jumped on you. I just reread my post and it came out harsher than I intended.
We all know that taking the kids out of the country requires both parents permission. So, these things really need to be discussed with the parents FIRST, before telling the kids.
This mother has shown jealousy in the past, so it's best to work things out with her than to get the kids excited and then tell them no.
Lastly, DON'T DO THE DISNEY CRUISE! Take any cruise but that one. I've taken my kids on many cruises, Disney was the least enjoyable and most expensive. There are 600+ kids on the Disney cruise. MOst of them are unsupervised because their parents have bought into the advertising that they can just sit and relax and let their kids go. Therefore, anything your kids want to do, they have to get in line behind 600+ other kids.
I also don't want to go into what the pools look like after 600+ kids, 1/3 of which are in DIAPERS, are sharing 2 small pools. They ususally had to close down the Mickey pool because of fecal content by 12:00 each day. It was gross!
Look at some other cruiselines that don't try to put 600 children on each sailing. :)
