I spent too much on the kids and now, as of today, I am officially broke. I have a few things to eat for tonight and will borrow some cash tomorrow. My mistake was behaving like I did when we were together. Always way too much stuff for the kids. Next year it will be one or two things. After my daughter's aftercare check got cashed today, that did me in. I will spend Christmas eve with the kids at STBX's house, then return in the morning to see what Santa brought them. Then the kids will be going over to her side for the afternoon while I will go out to have dinner with my soon-to-be-80 year old Mom and younger Brother.

The lights, the music, the spirit...none of is even detectable to me.

I filed for divorce yesterday. She will be served a few days.
