I'm just entering the process of divorce (involving a 5yo child), so I'm not a veteran.
Though, let me instead speak like a 35 yo that since I was 2 was raised by seperated/divorced parents.
What is your intention or what do you plan to achieve by changing the 50/50 custody? More child support? I don't honestly know, which is why I ask.
Though, if one of your children have asked to live with your ex, but, you're wanting a court to say no, then, may I say (I'm a blunt individual perhaps why my spouse is leaving me - though you wont find a more honest non-secretive spouse as I was - and she wasnt) let go of the resentment/spite. Again, ASSUMING you are wanting a court to be the ones to say "no you arent old enough to decide"
With 50/50, you can share your 50 percent anytime you want.. meaning if one of your children are wanting/asking to live with your ex, then let them, so long as the ex can suit them (has room, etc.)
Since they are 13/15 and IF they/one of them are wanting to move with your ex and because you are asking this question, I would go as far to venture a guess that they/one of them is upset with you about something?
If not ok.. but to you and anyone else reading this reply, if a child does this, LET THEM move. Unless the ex is abusive of course, though I wouldnt imagine 50/50 custody being given if the ex was. So, there you go.
