Being a grandparent this is hard. But if you threw the girl out then she needed to figure it out. If people continue to rescue her then she will never have the need to grow up.

I would love to be the grandparent. My daughter has recently been placed in jail and I have her 5 year old. This is hard for the child, I still have one left of my own that is 14. He feels slighted but there is no where else for this child to go. I never wanted to raise my grandchildren. I wanted to be the one to spoil them when they came to my house. My daughter has been away and not even wrote to this child. Breaks my heart. Everyday my grand daughter looks at the calender and says, Mommy will be home tomorrow. And what do I say? Mommy wont be home for10 years??

You need to be the mom, tell grandma to let you handle it.
