I don't believe she worked, so I'm unsure as to the how/why of separate accounts. I don't agree that he was never interested in saving his marriage. I think that he likely came here when he was on a very narrow edge...tried a while longer, only to be lied to and manipulated again...and that was enough. Sometimes...there's just too much damage done to dig up the passion for saving it....especially when you're trying alone.
