Absolutely. YOu need to find your state's CS calculator and see what it says that you should be paying in CS. YOur wife needs to do a very detailed expense sheet for herself and include EVERYTHING...I mean down to stamps and dryer sheets. She needs to see what it really costs for her to live. Add in daycare, health insurance, hair cuts, birthday parties, gifts, school fees (when they start school), every single penny. Don't lowball or you'll insult her and she won't be willing to work with you.

Try to make it work.

YOu say that you weren't a good husband. What do you mean by that. Are you saying that this divorce is mostly because of your actions?
