Yes, some people who respond can be quite blunt. Others can be almost cruel. Fortunately most of the people who respond try to be kind and helpful.

---> The poster ONLY has TWO options...IRS and her attorney...BOTH that she stated she didn't want to do because 1) she didn't want to stay on hold and 2) she can't afford to bring to her attorney's attention. While waiting on hold IS a drag...you do what you have to do. And it doesn't cost a whole hell of a lot to write your attorney a letter or email or even call their office and leave them a message about the issue. So it DOES become THEIR choice on what they want to do or not do.
