Mediation Doubts

My wife and I recently tried our first divorce mediation and it seems like the mediator is already favoring her. My wife is very good at laying down sob stories and making herself out to be the victim. She's a good actor and great when it comes to playing the system, and I think she's already roping this guy in. All I want is a fair settelemnt so that neither of has to sleep in a box after divorce.
My question is, how far should I go through this process before I get up and leave the table?
Tks.
