Good idea on contacting your lawyer. Mine gets very concerned about things being "post decree" and had hoped our house would be sold prior to the final hearing. Alas it is not on the market yet. We have agreed to split taxes and insurance, and on any repairs I am to notify him and we proceed from there. I worry about things like the furnace going out in cold weather and he does not respond after I advise him of problem. The term " reasonable amount of time "is so loosely interpretted. If I am in a cold house with no furnace, reasonable to me would mean quickly. I hope and pray no major repairs will pop up because I sure don't want to depend on him to respond and comply in "reasonable" amount of time. Nothing about him is reasonable any more.

I dont' think you will have any problem getting the QDRO, but it might be a problem if you ask your ex ot share in the cost of it at this point. Good luck!
