I am tempted to defend myself and the decision we both made and would both make again, but I will abstain because it won't solve anything. It is what is and we are where we are. We will both live with the decision and the regret of our failed marriage for the rest of our lives.
I truely want her to have a comfortable life and want to do the right thing. That's why I posted the question on this board. I am really not looking for a medal.
Susan, I appreciate you challenging me on the math. Please be specific and tell me what you think is right. I don't see how I can ever make up for the time she did not work. She doesn't feel like it was something I need to repay her for. She feels it was a wonderful opportunity.
I would be more than willng to pay for the training/classes.
So I guess there are two questions.
1)What is fair? I am open to ANY feedback on this issue
2) What would a judge likely order?
