Well, the child is 7 and therefore at school full-time. Why not, work full time and utilize after school care, and support yourself? Its not that hard some of us have done it for years. You'll get a chunk a change in child support and other benefits like income tax back on monies you don't pay in, free health insurance from the State, and even free home repairs. You don't need alimony staying at home, working full-time...its a personal choice. How come if a man has an affair...its off with his head...but if one of us (women) has an affair we circle the wagon and find reasons to still give them their "fair share" and support. Me, personally men and women don't have 'em (affairs) unless there is an issue in the marriage but these posts are hilarious. No offense against NYGAL...stuff happens and there is nothing like an amicable divorce. You can try but whenever money is involved the amicable turns ugly. NYS is generally overally generous to women and puts men in a cardboard box at the underpass nearest their childrens' home. Good luck
