The point Karen was making all through her posts is that she and her husband ARE STILL MARRIED. I don't care about what my EX does, but I certainly cared about what he did while we were still married—and bringing his paramour to any family events was a real no-no.

It shows total disrespect to the institution of marriage to bring your partner-in-infidelity to a wedding, don't you think?

Fortunately, my divorce did not drag out more than a few months. But even if it had, I would have expected, requested, and done whatever I needed to do in that time to keep my ex from FLAUNTING his paramour in my face during a family event. It was hard enough to be cast aside for someone else, and to have my face rubbed in it would have been totally devastating. I can tell you—I probably would not have taken the high road. Can anyone say CATFIGHT? (Redheads have such ba-a-ad tempers.)
