She got exactly $40K more than she deserved. She got $52K a year in CS, plus $10K in alimony that was to be used for college, which she spent on her live in BF (later husband, once the alimony stopped). He didn't work either.
So, whatever

Just because she didn't use her alimony for what it was intended doesn't mean that the intention of alimony, i.e. putting spouses on level, economic playing fiels, isn't a good thing.
