Redlegg,

Unfortunately, on my LES (leave and earnings statement), it looks like this:

Section 1:

X,XXX base pay
X,XXX bah (housing allowance)
--------
X,XXX total

Then is the "taxes and allotments" section:

Fed, social security, medicare, life insurance, health insurance, housing (bah) "allotment" (if you live on base), child support allotment....

X,XXX (total from first section)
X,XXX (minus all the stuff mentioned above)

NET INCOME

So when the judge looks at this, it appears that I receive housing allowance and then "pay rent". So he/she includes in the cs calc even though it is a) not actually received, and b), based on where I live, not where daughter lives.
