Staying put with someone you're divorcing is also a way to up the odds of a court battle.

There is no guarantee that because the two of you are taking each other court you'll both be on your best behavior at home, especially if settlement or custody negotiations are tense.

I'm not saying you should leave your home. Kids need their father and kids need as little disruption to their lives as possible when it comes to divorce. I would highly suggest the two of you establish ground rules if you end up staying put, and make sure you do not provide her with any opportunity to file an RO and have you removed.
