If you have kept that lump sum separate from marital funds, he hasn't got a prayer. He may be trying to threaten you with that, just so he can get you to give up other marital assets.
Stick to your guns. That retirement nest egg should not even enter the negotiation process...not even the interest it has earned while married.
All that matters is what you've acquired in the last 5 years.
