This is really starting to stress me...

Kids came home from 2 days, 1 night with dad. They are extremely edgy and cranky. Very clingy, starting to calm down now a little bit. I had to take the first while after they got home just staying calm and giving them lots of love. My 10 yr began telling me all the "crap" they endured on this round to hell. Atleast her and her 3 yr old sis. 2 yr old boy is treated like he never does anything wrong. Ex called me a "thieving little sh$t" in front of them. Then when 3yoD wouldn't eat he put her in the corner and everytime she said she wanted mommy he would spank her with the belt. first time she said it he hit her once, second time twice and so on.
then at one point he poured out a bunch of starbursts next to 10yoD and she thought he gave them to her and she ate them...granted she should have asked to make sure they were for her but he overreacted...he started in on her about how selfish she is and she thinks the world revolves around her and for every derogatory thing he said he would add "just like your mother". Then he gets pissed becuase I haven't taught alex how to do laundry yet... he said "when I was 9 I was doing laundry, I had to do the whole house" 10yoD said she almost blew up at him to stop talking about her mother that way but she managed to control herself becuase she knew it would get her in more trouble. He picked them up yesterday am @ 7:30 then called me on my cell at 8:15 I went to answer and my phone slipped outta my hand and closed, hanging up on him. I tried calling him back but just got voice mail. He called a few minutes later on my office phone and when I answered proceeded to jump down my throat with "WHY DID YOU HANG UP ON ME WHEN I CALLED YOUR CELL PHONE" When I explained what happened he said "WHATEVER" then chewed me out saying that I better NEVER have the kids up late again before they come to his house. We were up til 10:30 th enight before. Saying that if 10yoD didn't stop with her smart mouth she would be sitting at my house waiting for me when I got home. Sometimes I wish it was legal to permanently gag someone. I try very hard to bad mouth him in front of the kids, to encourage a relationship with him and to reinforce REASONABLE discipline when they are in his care. But his behavoir makes me even more resentful of him than I already am. I wish I could find a lawyer that would help me pro bono or cheap so that I could fight for supervised visitation and to have him evaluated.
